The first 9 thousand tons of coal for Chaunskaya heat power plant are delivered to Pevek

The first batch of coal for the Chaunskaya thermal power station have been delivered in the seaport of Pevek. Three bulk carriers delivered 9 thousand tons of the strategic cargo for the upcoming heating season. 3 thousand tons of them are Zyryansky coal from Yakutia and 6 thousand tons are from the Bukhta Ugolnaya deposit in the Berengovsky village in Chukotka.

Local solid fuel is delivered to Pevek for the first time. 20 thousand tons of Berengovsky coal will be burnt in furnaces of boilers of the town’s heat and power plant tentatively. Thus, the plant’s specialists will check its quality, BTU content and ash content.
