The Russian coal industry relies on China in vain.

The possibility of increasing the supply of Russian coal for export is ambiguously estimated by the industry analysts now. On the one hand, short-term forecasts state about the rise of the dynamics prevailing in the previous period, on the other - a reduction in demand from major consumers such as China and India.

Discussion of the main problems in the supply of Russian coal abroad was the subject of a series of expert discussions held in Moscow. For the first time in recent years the volume of export shipments of Russian coal into the Asia-Pacific countries exceeded shipments to Europe.
