Mechel’s subsidiary increased coal production by 17% up to 5.1 mln tons in H1, 2016

JSC Holding company “Yakutugol” (part of “Mechel-Mining”) increased coal production by 17% up to 5.1 million tons in the first half of 2016 year-on-year.

According to company’s press-service, increase in figures is monitored in all subdivisions of the company. Production at open-pit mine “Nerungrinsk” made up over 4.6 million tons of coking and steam coal (+16%), quarry “Kangalassk” – 133 thousand tons (10%) and "Dzhebariki-Khaya” mine – 306 thousand tons (29%).
