New long wall face has been put into operation at Uskovskaya mine in Kuzbass

​The long wall face 50-10 with the reserves of over 1 mln 800 thousand of coking coal of GJ mark has been put into operation at the Uskovskaya mine in Kuzbass.

A complex of assembly, mining and driftage works had been held. Particular attention was paid to the issues of safety. Preliminary degasification of the layer was held. In the process of coal extraction the degasification from the surface with the help of the degasification station is held. The long wall face is equipped with the methane, oxygene and carbon oxide control device.

Monthly the miners plan to produce about 220 thousand tons of coal. After its enrichment at the Abashevskaya and Kuznetskaya central processing plants, the coal from the Uskovskaya mine is shipped to the metallurgical and coke chemicals enterprises of the Ukraine and Russia.

The Uskovskaya mine is under the control of “Raspadskaya Coal Company” JSC.
