In August, Georgia reduced oil products imports by 25%

In August, Georgia reduced oil products imports by 24.6% to 77,900 tons, Trend reports. The Georgian Union for Oil Products Importers reports that imports have increased by 10.5% to 566,000 tons in 2014, including 240,000 tons of petrol and 326,000 tons of diesel fuel. The state imported 192,800 tons from Romania sharing 34.1% in total supplies, 145,700 tons from Azerbaijan (-25.7%), 87,800 tons from Bulgaria (15.5%). 70,800 tons from Greece (12.5%), 42,200 tons from Russia (7.5%) and 25,000 tons from Turkmenistan (4.4%).
