Russia. The revenue from gas and coal exports is down in Jan-February

The revenue from coal and gas export decreased in January-February 2016 year-on-year, Federal Customs Service reports.

Russia received $5.405 billion of revenue from gas export (-27% y-o-y). Physical volume of gas export increased by 17% to 32.2 billion cubic meters, including to non-CIS countries by 32% to 24.7 billion cubic meters. Physical volume of export to the CIS-countries decreased by 14.7% year-on-year and made up 7.5 billion cubic meters, mainly, due to termination of direct purchases by the Ukraine.
