Amic purchases “Lukoil Aviation” and “Luk Avia Oil” in the Ukraine

​“Amic Ukriane” (controls a network of fuel stations Amic) has applied to the Antimonopoly Committee of the Ukraine for the purchase of companies – operators of oil products supply to the Ukraine “Lukoil Aviation” and “Luk Avia Oil”.

The application on the purchase of stakes in the registered capital of “Lukoil Aviation Ukraine” and “Luk Avia Oil” by Amic that will result in having more than 50% in the Boards of these companies.

Lukoil has sharply reduced the import of jet fuel to the Ukraine in 2015. In particular, only 530 tons were imported against 36 thousand tons in 2014. It is primarily connected with the termination of jet fuel import from Russia in the autumn 2014.

On August 11th 2014 Lukoil and Amic investment company signed an agreement on the sale of 100% of shares in Lukoil-Ukraine to an Austrian company. Today there are 240 fuel stations and 6 oil bases in the structure of the network in the Ukraine. Investors from Austria completed the deal on the purchase of Lukoil’s Ukrainian business in late April 2015 when the deal was approved by the Antimonopoly Committee.
