Experts forecast a sharp price rise for petrol in Russia

According to the experts of the consulting company “OMT-Consult”, by the beginning of May the demand for gasoline in Russia will rise by 25-30% that in its turn will lead to the price rise for motor fuel.
Experts say that even now the wholesale price of gasoline in Russia has started to rise though two weeks ago it showed a negative dynamics. Analysts say that the season of the demand rise for fuel in Russia in ahead, so one should get ready for a significant price rise.
Previously Pronedra wrote that according to Mr. Dvorkovich, the Government doesn’t expect a sharp price rise for gasoline. Meanwhile last week a sharp rise for fuel price was noticed – by 0.03-0.16 roubles/liter dependent on the region.
