Azerbaijan plans to construct a plant on synthetic motor fuel output with the value of $350 mln

​Azerbaijan plans to construct a GTL plant (gas to liquids technologies) and output of synthetic motor fuel.

The project initiated by the Azeri fund of export and investment promotion (AZPROMO) is currently on the stage of investment planning.

Anyway it is included into the new catalogue of investment projects of Azerbaijan for 2016.

The plant on the production of liquid gas and output of synthetic motor fuel is planned to be constructed  on the territory of the Sumgaitsky chemicals-industrial park.

The construction will take 2 years, payback period – 8 years.

The raw materials might be gas from Shakh-Deniz-2.

The Sumgaitsky chemicals-industrial park is founded in Azerbaijan in favorable conditions for the development of competitive industrial production on the basis of high technologies, entrepreneurship support and development of the non-oil sector of economy.
