Russia:Investments into the coal industry to decrease by two times

Members of the regional headquarters on the financial monitoring and elaboration of industry support measures have considered the issues of the coal industry development.

According to the Deputy Governor, Andrei Gammershmidt, today the main problem of the sector is the decrease of coal prices. During the first quarter, the coal price decreased by 19% on the average and reached 1.02 thousand rubles per ton. It fell by 24% as compared with the level of the last year. As a result, the amount of investments also decreased.
