The Ukraine has lost 300,000 tons of coal in Donbass

The Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of the Ukraine Y. Prodan claims that there are a number of mines that cannot be restored with total ayield of 300,000 tons of coal. They were destroyed by flooding.

At the beginning of September, the First Deputy Minister of Energy and theCoal Industry, Y. Zyukov stated that 13 mines were totally destroyed in in Donbass. In September, coal yield halved in the Ukraine due to the armed hostilities, to 3.3878 million tons versus September 2013. Coking coal yield fell by 3.1 times to 623,800 tons, and energy coal yield fell by 1.8 times to 2.764 million tons.
