Novak: Increase of excise duty on fuel of Euro-5 is decision that is not discussed

Increasing excise taxes on Euro 5 fuel is a decision which is not discussed. This was announced by the Minister of Energy Alexander Novak today.

"This happened within our fiscal maneuver, this is coordinated position of the Russian Government. It is a complete solution on change of the oil industry taxation in general. There are a lot of nuances: not only increase, but also the reduction of excise duties due to the tax maneuver, there is also subsidizing the refineries,” - said Novak.
