In January-April 2016, coal production in the Kemerovo region grew by over 7%

In January-April 2016, the coal-mining enterprises of the Kemerovo region increased the coal production by 4.9 million tons or by 7.3% as compared with January-April 2015 to 71.7 million tons. This was reported by the Administration of Kemerovo region reported on May 10, 2016.
Including the production of coking coal amounted to 20.4 million tons, which is by 0.3 million tons more than in January-April 2015.
