In the framework of the program of modernization of Rosneft OJSC another lot of high-capacity equipment has been delivered to the Syzran oil refinery plant – a catalytic distillation column C-502 for the being constructed MTBE production unit. The dimensions of the column are 56 m high, 2.2 m in diameter, weight – about 86 tons.
The equipment is meant for the separation of methanol and methyl –tertiary –butyl ether –a highly-octane non-toxic component for petrol output that meet the highest ecological class of the technical regulation - out of production mixture.
The new equipment was projected and produced by the Russian enterprises.
