Port for transshipment of goods from Afipsky oil refinery to be constructed near Kabardinka

​A terminal for oil products transshipment will be constructed near Kabardinka resort area on the coast of the Tsemes Bay, “GT Morstroi” CJSC (projector of the future port) said.

Previously the head of Neftegasindustria GC, which realizes the project of modernization of the capacities of the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region, V. Kogan, said about the group’s plans to construct a port 100 km away from the oil refinery to save on the oil products transportation tariff. I hope the port will be constructed within 3 years, he said.

According to the projector, in conformity with the scheme of territorial planning of Russia in the sphere of federal transport – in the part of pipeline transport, oil products pipelines from the Afipsky oil refinery to the sea terminal in the Tsemes Bay presuppose diesel fuel supply at the volume of up to 7 mln tons and gasoline at the volume of up to 3.5 mln tons a year from the Afipsky oil refinery to the sea terminal in the Tsemes Bay of the Black Sea.
