En+ and Shenhua will jointly develop Zashulanskoye coal deposit in Zabaikalye

Razrez Ugol LLC, the joint venture 50/50 of Vostsibugol, a subsidiary of En+ and the Chinese largest coal producer Shenhua announced about their victory in the tender for the right for coal exploration and development at the Zashulanskoye coal deposit in the Zabaikalye. They paid for the license 246.9 million rubles. Balance reserves of the deposit are 252 million tons of coal by C1. This coal has high caloric value and low sulfur content. They are going to execute open-cast coal mining at the deposit. Annual projected capacity will be up to 6 million tons of coal.
