The government comission on December 11th to consider the deal Sinopec and Sibur.

The government commission on foreign investment will consider the entry of the Chinese Sinopec to SIBUR's equity capital on December 11th, the head of Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service, Igor Artemyev stated.

"The Commission of the government will soon meet. This transaction will be considered, and there are a very good chance that the deal will be approved. Anyway I think that it necessarily  will be approved, said I.Artemyev.

In October, the head of the monitoring of foreign investments FAS, Armen Khanyan told reporters that the FAS has received a request from the Chinese corporation Sinopec to buy the shares of SIBUR. "(Application) received  and being considered. We plan that this year we will review the deal at the Government Comission on foreign investment", - A. Khanyan stated.
