The Ukraine unloads the 3rd vessel with coal from South Africa

The Ilichevsk port in the Odessa region after a short pause has renewed the acceptance and processing of vessels with coal from the South African Republic. Last Saturday about 78 thousand tons of coal from the South African Republic was delivered to the Ukraine, “Ilichevsk sea port” reports.

“In the evening on Jan 10th the vessel Rosco Poplar arrived at the pier #1 for unloading. This is a bulk cargo ship with the length of 225 m and width of 32 m. In the process of cargo works 77,970 tons of coal will need to be unloaded at terminal 1”, is reported. The port says that daily about 15 thousand tons of coal are unloaded. It is planned to finish the unloading works on Jan 16th.

The shipment of thermal coal to the Ukraine from the South African Republic is held in conformity with the intergovernmental agreement. From the beginning of November 2014, 3 coal vessels arrived at the Ilichevsk port: Scotian Express, Bottiglieri Challanger and now  Rosco Poplar.
