Coal extraction fell 65% at mines in Donetsk region

The production volumes have fallen down.

The press service of the Donetsk regional Administration, the enterprises of the Donetsk region extracted in October only 1,140 thousand tons of coal, by 65% less than in October 2013. Of this volume 572 thousand tons is coking coal and 568 thousand tons – thermal coal. In total 900 thousand tons of coal were extracted on the territory controlled by the Ukraine’s Government, in particular, 521 thousand tons – at the state enterprises. The state electric stations now face serious problems with thermal coal.
