SUEK launches longwall face with reserves in the amount of 2.1 million tons of coal

SUEK-Kuzbass has launched a new longwall face Polysaevskaya with coal reserves of 2.1 million tons, the total investment in the technical re-equipment made up 1.6 billion rubles, SUEK reports.

The longwall face N1747 with Breevsky reservoir removable capacity of 1.6 meters is unique for the coal industry in the country, it first applies technology allowing to carry out deserted coal mining. Monitoring and control of downhole equipment is carried out by operator of a nearby roadway. The expected monthly loading is 300 thousand tons of coal.
