Sakhalin coal port opened the shipping season

At the end of the previous week Sakhalinsk coal port opened navigation.

“In March the port Shakhtersk loaded 5.5 thousand tons of hard coal to a motorship “Captain Sosenkov”, which delivered the cargo to Japan. It was so-called “final rehearsal” before a start of a shipping season. There has been worked over new shipment technologies, new equipment shiploader of up to 2 thousand tons an hour production and conveyors, delivering coal, has been checked,” the press-service of OOO “Managing company “Sakhalinugol” states.

There gathered over 130 thousand tons of coal at the storage of the port. Such resources together with modern loading machines will allow speeding up the loading of vessels at Shakhtersk port.
