Raspadskaya increased coal production in H1, 2013

The production at the enterprises of OJSC “Raspadskaya” made up 3.961 million tons of rough coal in the first half of 2013 (+15% against H1, 2012). In the second quarter of 2013 coal production went down by 25% against the first quarter 2013 and made up 1.7 million tons. The decrease in Q2 is due to a suspension of operation at the “Raspadskaya” and a scheduled resetting of the long face at the mine “MUK-96”, the company says.
