A 50-milionth ton of coal has been extracted at Stepnoy mine in Khakasiya

​On November 16th 2015 at the Stepnoy mine (in the structure of “Russia Coal” GC) the 50-millionth ton of coal was extracted. The Stepnoy mine (Khakasiya) was put into operation in 1993. The D mark coal is extracted there. It is demanded in Russia and overseas.

In Jan-October 2015, 3.3 mln tons of coal were produced at the Stepnoy mine. The productivity of the Stepnoy mine is 5 mln tons of coal a year. In 2014, 4 mln tons of coal were produced at the Stepnoy mine. In the long-term perspective it is planned to increase the extraction to 5 mln tons.

The entire volume of the extracted coal is planned to be processed at the processing plant. From the beginning of 2015 it processed 2.8 mln tons of coal. In 2016 the capacity of the plant will grow to 4.2 mln tons.

15 excavators are working at the Stepnoy mine, including HITACHI hydraulic excavators, 12 bulldozers, 35 BelAZ machines. In 2015 the park of large-cargo machines of the Stepnoy mine grew. Next year it is planned to purchase new hydraulic excavators and BelAZ cars.
