Moscow will move to the new environmental standard on January 1.
Moscow authorities have decided on the date of entry into force of the petrol and diesel fuel turnover of the environmental standard "Euro 5". Beginning January 1, the sale of fuel below this standard will be prohibited. The Moscow Government assures that the shortage of petroleum products in the market will not arise, and a rise in price of petrol is unlikely.
