New longwall face is launched at the Erunakovskaya-VIII mine

New longwall face №48-3 has been launched at the Erunakovskaya-VIII mine of Yuzhkuzbassugol (a part of Evraz). The longwall face launch marked completion of the Evraz’s investment project on construction of the Erunakovskaya-VIII mine.
Reserves in the longwall face make up about 3 million tons of coke coal. The coal miming is carried out, using new mechanized complex GLINIK 13\28, which includes cutter-loader KSW-460 NE, longwall face conveyance Rybnik-850 and elevating conveyer Grot-850. Technical capabilities of the complex enable to mine about 200 thousand tons of coal per month.
