Evraz has obtained the permission for the start of coal production in Tuva

Mezhegeyugol, a subsidiary of Evraz has obtained the permission of the State Expertise Department for the project of the first stage of a coal production complex construction in Tuva. They are going to invest 40 - 50 billion rubles to the complex's construction at the Mezhegey deposit. The new mine will be equipped with modern utilities and perfect safety systems that will provide a high yield. It will Evraz’s first enterprise using the technology of chamber-and-pillar mining successfully used at the South African and US mines.
