SOCAR starts reconstruction of Baku refinery

SOCAR has begun reconstruction of Baku oil refinery n.a. Heydar Aliyev, which will increase its production capacity and improve the quality standards of products. First of all, we are talking about switch to the standard of Euro-5 in Azerbaijan.
"The aim of this work is to accelerate activities associated with the implementation of environmental fuel standards Euro-5. In this regard, the Baku refinery launched new projects related to modernization of existing units, increase of production capacity and improvement of ecological condition," - the company reports.
