Transshipment of non-ferrous metals by Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port falls by 69.4%

The Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port reports that in January-February of 2014 the volume of metals transshipment fell. The transshipment of ferrous metals and cast iron made up 1 661.3 thousand tons that is by 2.1% more than in January-February of the last year, but the transshipment of non-ferrous metals declined by 69.4%. According to the company, the transshipment of non-ferrous metals is under pressure of weak demand on foreign markets.
