Poland goes into hysterics: neither coal nor gas

The former fraternal republic tries ro keep away from Russian energy in the way the “devil fears holy water”.

The Polish Government requires a Russian gas price reduction on an incredibly regular basis. They have claims against gas imports almost every month. Poland wants to buy Russian gas as well as other parts of Europe. They want the price at $380, but at the same time think about revenge. The Government, headed by the Prime Minister D.Tusk, is noticed in creating an anti-Russian, almost Russophobia climate. Besides, they say they plan to buy gas at a higher price and not from Moscow. One of the variants is Qatar LNG. It cost $650 for Poland, i.e. by 30-40% more than now. Another variant is the LNG from the USA. At present, 80% of gas in Poland is from Russia. Stated differently, so-called “diversification” is not more than wealth accumulation by some structures, close to the government. Anyway, ordinary consumers are going to pay for the gas.
