In January-September of 2013, Uzbekistan increased coal production by 28.7%

In January-September of 2013, Uzbekistan increased coal production by 28.7% as compared with the same period of the last year to 3.102 million tons, the Novy vek reports, referring to information of the republic’s Statistics Committee.

By results of the first nine months, the production of brown coal made up 3.08 million tons (the growth is 1.3 times) and black coal – 22 thousand tons (the decline is 1.3 times).
