A new long wall face to be launched at the Raspadskaya mine

A new long wall face of 88 thousand tons of gas fat coal capacity a month was launched at the Raspadskaya mine on June 19th. The total amount of coal in the long face 5a-10-18 makes up 428 thousand tons. They stated about it in the press-service of the mine.
The development of the longwall face will be carried out with the help of mechanical longwall set of equipment JOY. The complex comprises cutter-loader JOY 4LS-20 and face conveyor DBT PF.
To date, Raspadskaya carries out mining at 3 longwall faces. They are about to launch the 4th one in August 2014.
