Coal Energy reduces coal production almost 6 times

In February 2015, Coal Energy S.A. (Luxembourg), which has assets in the Ukraine, reduced its coal production 5.9 times as compared to the same period in 2014 to 8.52 thousand tons, the company reported on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. As compared with January 2015, the production fell by 32.1%.
"In the reporting month, the level of the coal production was significantly reduced as compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year due to unsafe working conditions for workers caused by the current military conflict in the region. For this reason, the company provides aggregate data of the total amount of mined coal without types of coal,"- the report notes.
