Gazprom Neftechem Salavat increased Euro 5 petrol yield

In H1 2014, Gazprom Neftechem Salavat increased its Euro 5 high-octane petrol yield by 57%. The plant stopped Euro 4 fuel production due to growth in excise duties. The positive dynamics are possible due to the realization of several actions at the plant. It started the introduction of high-octane additive, isobutyl alcohol by Monomer and substitutes the catalyzer scheme at L-16 utility that reduced the sulfur content in raw materials of the catalytic cracking utilities. In 2013, they realized the scheme of dispatching to Synthez-Kauchuk plant of NK-62. After its processing, the company produces the high-octane component isopentane. The launch of re-format fractioning block at utility L-35-11/1000 in 2012 enabled to it reduce benzene content to 1%.
