In July, sales of petrol at filling stations in the Ukraine fell by a quarter

In July 2015, the retail sales of petrol at filling stations in the Ukraine (excluding the occupied territory) decreased by 26% as compared with the same period of the previous year to 160 thousand tons. The sales of diesel fuel at the stations, in turn, decreased by 23% to 117 thousand tons, the State Statistics Committee reports.

Overall, in the first six months, the sales of petroleum products in the retail segment declined by 24% up to 277 thousand tons.

The industrial consumption of petroleum products decreased not so significantly: the consumption of gasoline fell by 12% to 52 thousand tons, and the consumption of diesel fuel (333 thousand tons) – by only 1.5%.
