Mini-oil refinery plants of Kazakhstan increased processing by 46% in 2014

The total volume of processing in the country rose by more than 1 mln tons.

The mini-oil refinery plants of Kazakhstan in 2014 increased oil and gas condensate processing by 46% against 2013 – to 1.472 mln tons from 1.007 mln tons, Reuters reports referring to the analysis center of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.

A significant growth of processing was reached due to the putting into operation of a new bitumen plant Caspi Bitum in March 2014.

According to the analysis center, the total volume of processing of the oil refinery plants of Kazakhstan in 2014 reached 16.383 mln tons against 15.279 mln tons in 2013.
