Azeri oil – results of 2015

In 2015 Azerbaijan extracted about 41.69 mln tons of oil, by 0.8% less than in 2014.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the country produced 29.74 bln cubic m of gas, which is by 1.1% more than in 2014.
The larger part of the extracted in Azerbaijan oil and gas comes from the ACG block and Shakh-Deniz deposit which are developed by SOCAR along with foreign partners.
According to the forecasts, in 2016 the volume of oil extraction in Azerbaijan will make up 40.7 mln tons.
