Lukoil will become the first company to complete the modernization of its oil refineries.
Lukoil’s head, V. Alekperov, said that by mid 2016 the company would complete the modernization of its oil refineries by mid 2016.
In the autumn 2015 D. Medvedev said that the investment into the modernization of oil refineries in 2015 would make up 214 bln roubles.
Some companies asked to postpone the modernization of 14 units at oil refinery plants from 2015 to 2016-2020.
In June 2016 Lukoil plans to launch the unit of deep processing of vacuum gasoil at the Volgograd oil refinery.
The investment into this project exceeded 150 bln roubles.
After the launch of the unit the issue of light oil products will significantly rise, primarily Euro-5 diesel fuel.
