Whole gasoline, consumed in Georgia, is made in Europe

All of the gasoline, consumed in Georgia, is made in Europe, the Union of Oil Products Importers of Georgia reported.

According to the information, oil products from Europe take a significant share of fuel, imported to Georgia. According to the statistics, in the first six months of 2014, the largest import of gasoline and diesel fuel came from Romania - 138.1 thousand tons that is 35.9% of the total import.

It is followed by Azerbaijan - 92.5 thousand tons (24% of the total imports), Bulgaria - 63.6 thousand tons (16.5%), Russia - 35.7 thousand tons (diesel only) that is 9.3% of the total imports, Turkey - 13.1 thousand tons (diesel only) that is 3.4% of the total import.
