Mechel's coal company avoids bankruptcy in the courts

In October, the Arbitration Court of the Kemerovo region dismissed the proceedings on 19 applications of companies on the bankruptcy of coal company Yuzhny Kuzbass, included in Mechel.
In October, the case file for bankruptcy of Yuzhny Kuzbass received 18 requests of creditors to waive claims on bankruptcy. The court granted all 18 applications and stopped the proceedings. Earlier, the court dismissed the proceedings for several claims on bankruptcy of Yuzhny Kuzbass, but there are still 41 claims of other creditors.
