Kulevi terminal has started naphtha transshipment

​“The Black Sea Terminal” Kulevi belonging to SOCAR has started naphtha transshipment. The loading of the first lot of naphtha into the RIROIL 2 tanker was held with no loss of time, quality or volume of products.

Currently, besides naphtha, the terminal is able to transship such hydrocarbons as crude oil, grease oil, vacuum gasoil, petrol, diesel fuel, jet fuel, methanol and LPG.

SOCAR purchase the Kulevi oil terminal in Jan 2007 having invested over $350 mln into the completion of its construction and modernization. The throughput capacity of the terminal is 10 mln tons of oil and oil products a year. Azerbaijan transships these products to the world markets.
