Japanese companies show interest in coal production in Kolyma

Japan companies are interested to take part in joint projects on coal exploration and production in Kolyma, the regional authority states.

Governor V.Pecheny discussed prospects of joint production of coal in Magadan with a delegation from Japan, which included the representatives from JOGMEC companies, JFE Techno Research, the Institute of Energy Economics of Japan (IEEJ).
