Bashneft increased oil exports by 4.4% in 2013 and oil products and petrochemicals exports by 9.3%

Bashneft increased oil exports by 4.4% to 4.7 million tons in 2013 and oil products and petrochemicals exports by 9.3% to 9.4 million tons. In 2012, oil exports were 4.5 million tons and oil products and petrochemicals exports were 8.6 million tons.

Last year the company modified the structure of its export supplies. The total export sales shared 30% to Poland, 25% to the Primorsk port, and 16% to the Novorossiysk port in 2012, compared to 33% to Novorossiysk and 27% to Hungary in 2013. They increased supplies to Slovakia from 0% to 24%, and to Belarus from 0% to 11%. The strategic priority in oil export sphere was geographic diversification of supplies and entrance to the new premium markets.
