Gazprom Neft negotiates with Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, or PetroVietnam about the purchase of a share in the Dung Quat oil refinery. The companies are going to close the contract by the end of November.
The Dung Quat oil refinery with the daily capacity of 130,000 barrels a day is located in Central Vietnam. It was launched in 2009. The plant is the only active oil refinery in Vietnam. It provides one third of the state demand for transport fuel.
