Irkutsk region will develop rare-earth metal deposit

The Irkutsk region is going to start the construction of the ore-dressing combine at the Zakhikhinsky rare-earth metal deposit in 2016. The realization of the project was discussed at the meeting of the Minister of Economic Development of the Irkutsk region R. Kim, the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the region O. Kravchuk and the representatives of the investor company. They stated at the session that it’s located in the Irkutsk region the Russian largest rare-earth metal province including several large and unique deposits.
