Kozovoy leaves "Raspadskaya".

The CEO of "Raspadskaya" Gennady Kozovoy, who worked at the company for over 20 years, is leaving his post, but remains within the board of directors

"Gennady Ivanovich is strong and we like him", - Alexander Abramov, the co-owner and chairman of Evraz, stated in April 2014, commenting on the chances of Kozovoy, the former principal owner of "Raspadskaya", to remain CEO of the company in 2014 (quoted by "Interfax"). "We hope, but we can not guarantee that he will stay" - emphasized Abramov.

Yesterday evening Kozovoy signed a letter of resignation, "Interfax" reported, citing the informed sources and the three sources of "the Vedomosti", close to Evraz confirmed, (in 2013, the company consolidated its 82% stake in "Raspadskaya"). Evraz representative declined to comment. Kozovoy’s phone was switched off.
