Belarus increases oil export duties from November 1st

​From November 1st Belarus increases customs duties in respect of oil and certain categories of goods produced out of oil and exported outside the Eurasia Economic Union.

The export oil duty is raised from $91.5 to $97.1/ton, or directly distilled fuel – from $77.7 to $82.5/ton, saleable petrol – from $71.3 to $75.7/ton.

The duty for light distillates and diesel fuel from November 1st will make up $46.6/ton, grease oil, processed oil products, petrolatum and paraffin, oil bitumen - $73.7/ton.

Previously the export duty was reduced from October 1st 2015.

From 2010 Belarus fully unified with Russia the export duty rates for oil and oil products. In conformity with the international agreement, Belarus is to transfer to the budget of Russia the entire volume of export duties for oil products produced out of the Russian oil.
