Rosneft to ship the surplus volumes overseas
The company sharply increases the fuel exports.
Less than a month has passed and the wholesale fuel prices in Russia started to fall. Thus Rosneft has decided to sharply increase its export. The company has announced tenders in the framework of which it plans to export 620 thousand tons of highly-octane petrol within the coming 3 months – it is much more than a year ago. Analysts worry if the domestic market will be lack of fuel reserves before the spring repair works at the oil refinery plants. Rosneft explains that the company will be able to turn away from the supplies to the winners of the tenders if the situation in the Russian market requires that. Nevertheless FAS plans to thoroughly study these contracts.
Rosneft has published the notifications of holding 10 tenders for the export supplies of Ai-95 and Ai-92 petrol on its website. The company offered the potential buyers to ship them fuel in December-March 2015. The price making will be formed on the basis of Platts Eurobob на FOB Rotterdam listings – that means the supplies are mainly meant for the West European market. In total Rosneft is ready to export over 1 mln tons of petrol, by 2.5 times more than a year ago. The larger part (620 thousand tons) will be Euro-4 and Euro-5 petrol which will be in particular demand after the ban of Euro-3 circulation in Russia beginning from 2015
