In H1, Rosneft’s refineries processed 48.09 million tons of oil

In the first half of the year, Russian and foreign refineries of Rosneft processed 48.09 million tons of oil, the oil company reports.

"The slight decrease in the processing (0.8%) as compared to the same period in 2014 was caused by the temporary suspension of the processing at the Mozyr refinery in the first quarter 2015 and the corresponding redistribution of oil to the more profitable sales channels," - the company explained.

Lets note, within the strategy of the development of refining and the expanding of its presence on the international market, the company signed major conditions on the reorganization of the joint venture with BP Ruhr Oel GmbH, and also agreed to buy out 16.67% of effective interest in PCK Raffinerie GmbH from Total. These activities are aimed at strengthening the company’s position on the European market of petroleum products.
