The Ukraine has stored 10% of the coal required for winter

The Ukraine has started to stock coal for heating season and for the past week of summer has already accumulated 150 thousand tons in warehouses of thermal power plants, which is 10% of the required volume for winter. This was announced by the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of the country, Vladimir Demchishin.

The Minister noted that the process of making stocks was on schedule. Although it is necessary to accumulate about 1.5 million tons of coal, the Minister believes that the Ukraine will have time to perform the task.

"September and October always were the period, when the stocks were accumulated because is not entirely appropriate to accumulate them in summer, since coal "burns"- with time on the stock it loses its qualitative characteristics," - said Demchishin.
