Evraz ZSMK switches to pulverized coal fuel

The building and mounting works are being completed at the construction site of the coal injection plant of Evraz ZSMK.

The main buildings and structures of the coal injection plant have been almost completed,the mounting of the equipment, electrotechnical structures and automated management systems are conducted. Two PAUL WURTH mills have been installed in the coal-pulverizing department. This is the heart of the complex, where coal will be grinded to pulverized coal fuel.

The energy supply has been fulfilled, pressuring and start-up of the complex energy trestle have been completed, including the supply of nitrogen, blast furnace and natural gases as well as heat and oxygen for repairs. The wagon dump equipment has been mounted. The weight of all metal structures at the site makes up more than 15 thousand tons.
